According to the Alabama Department of Public Health Coffee, Geneva, Houston, Jackson, Monroe, and Pike county are very high risk for COVID-19.
These counties are considered very high risk due to fewer vaccines being administered, less testing being done, and more positive cases per day than other areas across the state.
The average percentage of vaccination rates across Alabama is 37%. The ADPH shows Coffee and Geneva county rate at 28%, Houston and Monroe county at 33%, Pike county at 30%, and Jackson county at 29%.
