Bronx, NY- Karol Sanchez, the 16-year-old who was abducted off of the street in front of her mother on Monday was found safe Tuesday afternoon.
The New York city police had an Amber alert issued for the teen around 10 a.m. Tuesday. She was found a few hours later not far from where she was taken.
On Monday Karol and her mother were walking when a beige four door sedan pulled up on them around 11:20 p.m.
Police say there were four men who appeared to be in their 20’s inside of the car. Two of them got out snatched Sanchez and shoved her mother to the ground.
Karols mother, who was not hurt, reported that she had recently made plans to move from New York back to Honduras where they are originally from. She also stated her daughter is not in favor of it and does not want to go.
The police at this time are investigating to see if that has anything to do with what they call a bizarre kidnapping.
Cops released surveillance video of the unidentified suspects, all wearing dark clothing and asked the for the public’s help in finding them.
