Spectrum Offering Free Internet To Students During School Shutdown


Many schools and colleges all across the U.S are shutting down their physical locations and turning to online learning amid this COVID-19 outbreak.

To help ease some of the burden for those who do not have or can not afford in home WiFi Charter Communications is offering 60 days days of free internet to students grades K-12 and college students who may be lacking.

Charter said in a statement, “Americans rely on high-speed broadband in nearly every aspect of their lives and Charter is committed to ensuring our customers maintain reliable access to the online resources and information they want and need.”

If you don’t currently have the service you will receive free installation and those who qualify as low-income will still be eligible for high-speed broadband.

In efforts to make households aware of the service Charter plans to team up with local school districts all across the country.
