It has been 17 months since hurricane Maria came through and caused mass devastation to Puerto Rico.
According to Governor, Ricardo Rossello, the Whitehouse has declined to meet privately or publicly to discuss the relief before the governors’ conference that is to take place this weekend.
Governor Rossello stated Trump is the blame for the slow speed of disaster relief.
According to sources the Whitehouse did not responded to a request for a response on this issue.
Rossello also added that while his team has been in contact with the federal officials, President Trump has declined his request to meet several times with out a reason. He hopes to be able to speak with him this coming weekend when dozens of other governors are present.
